The Paradise Economic Development Corporation (PEDC) administers the “4B” sales tax as a primary source of funding. Paradise EDC is the lead agency for coordinating economic assistance for business entities seeking to expand and/or locate operations to Paradise. The corporation is directed by a Board of Directors, which consists of community and business leaders who are committed to enhancing the quality of life and economic growth of Paradise.

- PEDC works to ensure Paradise’s business climate and build an environment to strongly support these efforts by focusing on aesthetics, infrastructure, quality of life, image, workforce and quality development and redevelopment of key Paradise areas.
- PEDC, in coordination with the City of Paradise, work to promote the city and to utilize various tools, such as tax abatement and the authority granted the city under chapter 380 of the Local Government Code, to encourage new jobs and investments in the community.
